Field Trip

My field trip was a very interesting day for me, as it was for the first time during my stay in Malaysia i had finally go to explore Kuala Lumpur a bit.

   My Teacher had organized a field trip, it was a bit like the treasure hunt game. For this adventure my class students were all divided in a group of 4 to 5 members, so as to make the game more interesting and i personally think that the main idea of our teacher behind of making this task a group work was to make the group members become more friendly and know each other as we are going to be working together till the end of the last semester for the Introduction to fashion subject, I was in the group of Irene, Raina and Chelsin, but in vain i didn't understand Malay. Our teacher was using the source of technology to keep in touch and to provide us information of our work, an application named Yapp was being used thought out this adventurous task. The teacher was sending us so important clues for our work through Yapp We were being provided with keywords at by Miss Laura and we had to go strive for the answer. We had to go to various well known shops to finally search for our answers. Here we had to ask many question to some salesman in some well known brand like; Ralph Lauren, Paul Smith, Boss and so on, 

 But of main focus was on the "Dolce And Gabbana" and "Kate Spade"

During our visit to those two shops i had observe carefully about the theme of the shops which means; i had to look all around to see what the designers wanted to express and what is the aim of doing all the decorations. I asking to myself questions like : why did they put that? How? What they want to show? what is the significance of this and that? But the funny thing is that i forgot totally at that time that there are salesman working in the shop so i don't have to worry much if i do not understand anything. 

So when I First step in the Dolce And Gabbana i was impress by the theme and i was trying harder to understand what is the real theme and what is the significance of it because so many things was popping out of my mind as the theme seems to be a very familiar one. Then i realized that yeahhhh i know that as every day i put my step in one of those designs, As those designs are inspires by tiles Mediterranean designs, which can be found in most of the house in my country.

In my next blog i am going to post the precise information and collection of the two shops which i visited.. 

The best part of the journey was that we got some experience about the theme and the season of different brands and shops and not to forget it was a good time spend at the right place.
